the essence of life
i hold forth my vessel
to drink of it full

images of wisdom, joyfilled
and honest
quenchingly cool
to glowing inside

the back of my spine
whirling and spinning
keeping pace with the cosmos

evolution of conscious
like electric shock treatment
my minds frontal lobes
are pulsing pinpoints

the morning dove sings
while the sun burns off
the dawn's dewy mist
of retreating drab fog
