the thermometer reads one hundred and three it’s sticking inside of her mouth feeling the magma boiling inside honey, it feels like a volcano the ocean thrusts forward the earth splits apart a pressured momentum between them he comforts her fever with a glacier of movement rolling across her flesh welcoming the chill she hugs him close a little girl in his arms slowly he says evolution will happen as we gaze upon starswept fields
