I adore you, you know
and all that you are
as I stare up at the ceiling
and the sun etches in
in shades of blue
perhaps to whisper
something I know
of the heart
that lives
inside of you

I know you, you know
and all that you are
as I gaze down at the floor
and the moon pastels by
in hues of purple
perhaps to nudge
something I knew
of the heart
that lives
inside of me
