we are the wind
calm and gusty
raising
we are the sail
billowing and full
headway
we are the water
pitched and swelling
aboard
we are the vessel
adrift and sounding
tack
we are the direction
angeled and bearing
jib
we are momentum
ahead and sailing
II.
stand at the bow
arms outstretched
inhale fresh air breath
lay on the deck
lovers embraced
warm with sun tanned faces
ride the motion
lunge into depth
as waves cradle and crest
