Where have the years gone? a poem/musing by ellen george

 

Where have the years gone?

The dreams, the love, the hopes.

When did reality hit you between the eyes?

No fair.

But good things come to those who wait and wait and wait...

and oh...

the dreams, the loves, the hopes

        have always been there and have bloomed in your

                    life and soul.

And like the lotus blossom, grow in beauty each day and year and blossoms in your life.

A multifoliate rose of infinity.
