All I have been doing was to cry...

Sorry...
I have not been myself
I'm still not being myself
All I have been doing was to cry
Like I was a little girl
I shouldn't be
How stupid of me

What's the problem
Blowing my nose right now
What's the matter with me
I can't stop crying
Don't I know that
I'm not
a little girl anymore

What's the problem
What is wrong
I don't even want to sob
I really need a good cry
like to really really
crying out loudly
as if I were still a little girl

Yes, just let me cry
Leave all the tears to me
I'll save my tears in buckets
Send them all off to Tears Town
where tears are unattended
and words are forgotten to write
Perhaps then
I may be a better person

... then that must be because you have a form of pain trapped within you that needs releasing, Sandie. Tears are nature's way of dealing with the unspoken things that we can't often readily explain or give a name to. If you need to cry, you need to cry and let nature do its work. There's nothing 'childlike' about it. Often children show us the way because they are able to yield to tears so much more readily - but then see how quickly they are all smiles again! :) Let it go, Girl. I'm sure you'll feel better for it. xx

yes crying is sometimes very good for our souls as they are an attachment we have to our Creator to give us that emotion in such a profound manner. I do not know what it is about but I sense sadness just the same.

I'm sad too, but not crying, 3 of my friends aren't in good health, and it hurts......Praying for them helps. This is a good poem though, crying is good for you at times.

For crying out loud! Sorry for the happy mood, but if you are the child you profess, you will quickly get on the cheerful side very quickly, but you must cry first.

I am of the opinion that there are many people, who are feeling just as this poem's describing to us. Whereby, it should encourage them seeing as they are not alone. Well done Sandie!
