I am so bored!!! I have lost my brother to cancer. Wretched cancer seems to plague our family. I won't know when it is going to be my turn next.
Ahhh!!! When one has dodged the COVID but then is attacked by cancer or some other illnesses...
WTH???... you just can't win!!!
My brother is gone. He is now in heaven with my mom and dad. He sends me a signal telling me he is there and I am happy for him.
I am lost!!! I don't seem to have a purpose in my life!!! I strived so hard to become an author but for what purpose? My parents are gone, and my brother is now gone too. I'm feeling drained of energy for the past few days. I felt like all energies have left me!
I don't have a life!!!
I'm waiting for cancer to hit me too!
What's good is it that you have achievements but there's no one whom you can share your happiness with?
These past several days I felt like a shell of myself lying in my bed. My head is now empty of all thoughts, just the tears rolling down my cheeks.
So sorry that you have lost your parents and your brother to cancer. But think of your heritage, your children who will benefit from all your works that you have done--especially your beautifully illustrated children's books. And members of your extended family and their children will remember you long after you are gone for those books.
The best way to avoid cancer is to eat a healthy diet and exercise so that you stay physically fit and have a high level of cancer fighters in your body. We all get cancers all the time. But if we have a powerful, healthy immune system, they are gone before they grow.
Don't believe all of the claims of bogus supplements but get checked early and take the treatments that the doctors are working hard at to defeat cancer.
I am so sorry for your loss, Sandie. I extend my deepest condolences to you. I can relate. I have lost many (some to cancer) and the latest was my brother, the first of the seven siblings to go last Christmas Day. Prayers and blessings of healing and strength to you,

It's true about friends. Yesterday, I had been so upset I wanted to cancel out everything.
I began to deactivate my Facebook account, but Facebook kept asking me "Are you sure?" And it would not allow me to deactivate my account. I then I felt as though my action may seem like a betrayal to my friends and fans. I then chose to deactivate my account temporarily, which I'm glad I did.
I deactivated it around noon time, but by nightfall I missed my friends already. So, reactivated it again.
That was my feelings. I can never betray my friends.

Wow friend we have known each other since 1999 on authorsden. Your such a great friend. Sandie, I'm deeply sorry for your loss ! I'm praying for you! Please go to YouTube and type in Michael W Smith song called " Friends". It will give you great comfort. I feel he was your friend too. May God give you beautiful peace this evening.
