I love, love the lying of the light.
Traces startle like starlight in mist.
I trundle forth to meet a man of size.
The dappled daylight dazzles with blue-crested birds
While the white cat hums at home, eyes shut.
I love, love the lying of the light.
The daily drizzle drips on the ferns below.
The faint fog shifts on the leafy peaks.
I trundle forth to meet a man of size.
Waterfalls slice warm in tropical pools,
lovers wrap their bodies like spun webs.
I trundle forth to meet a man of size.
Volcanoes erupt in fire-orange plumes,
Clouds hover near heaven’s blue.
I love, love the lying of the light.
Haze obscures the blue breath of sighs.
Spirits linger in the steamy springs.
I love, love the lying of the light
as I trundle forth to meet a man of size.
