The spring comes
late on icy lanes.
I’ll slow down, sleep.
Night portends snow,
drops its shades
on a lowly sow.
I want to see blossoms,
skies with a circling
swallow, to walk
in woods. A doe rustles
past fallen oaks
in seasons gone.
A pine stirs us.
Wind barks orders:
spring’s trumpet composes
odes.
Ah, The four seasons loved them all
once upon a time, got tired of snow shoveling
constant rain in spring....
now I relax with wetlands for a back yard
with the beauty of nature and her critters
enjoyed your contributive nature poetic posting
