The moon slowly wanes
to make room for a new day
While it lessens, a brilliant orange
kisses the desert sky, purples, reds
and grays come to join in. In the distance, a rooster cries to welcome
the new day. The sunrise now disappears
over the horizon. It succumbs to the bright light of day.
The brilliant sun now rules
the earth.
Looking at the picture I have seen before me.
A miraculous sight. And I know I have just seen the face of God.
That pic would make a wonderful oil painting and I wish we had such beautiful sunsets and sunrises as you are blessed with. Anything God does shows His beauty and face in it.

Downright inspirational!! You know I woke up before the crack of dawn a few days ago..and then when it came, i took a pic of it..LOL..pity it was only on my cell phone, didnt come out too good. BUT what a sight, it really was a crack in the sky, isnt the creator...amazing.
