One in a set of four related poems

The road was too busy at the time
couldn't be bothered to wait in line
so on the pavement the cyclist rode
where normal folk usually strode
shouting at people to get out his way
treated it as a fun game to play
one girl a step aside failed to make
he hit her hard cursing her mistake
'Are you deaf?' he said screaming every word
She'd have answered if only she could have heard
