It hurts to see behind those beautiful eyes
The depth of pain that there lies
Knowing the cause is so much worse
Being unable to lift the evil curse
Its cause beyond my mortal scope
I pray in men you don’t lose hope
For the evil the few do alone
Myself and others must atone
So I offer these mere words of mine
Against the sin of the ultimate crime

I wrote this after reading Lori Moore's poem of the same name. I felt the need to apologise for my sex.

honestly,
I’m not sure what to say here
Gender generalizing is a difficult topic

I guess what this makes me feel is that I wish you didn’t feel the need to apologize…

Thank you for the wonderful words. I have progressed beyond a hatred (fear) for men and now focus my attention on healing and at times the 3 who committed the crime and still walk the streets. I continue to struggle with self blame.
