Voice Of Love

I Wrote This 8 years ago for a man I closely know since I was 18 years old named Mark.
he is the only person I have known most of my life-He said all he wanted to change about me was my last name...
I have known him since 1980...

Voice of Love
 
With my back now against
 this wall of undying love;
I stand in the shadows
of our betrayals darkness.
 
Your coldness is carrying you
further away;
as I hear you screaming
 against the winds of yesteryear.
 
My heart of love calls out
 to speak your name;
beckoning in the surrenderance
of our yesterday.
 
I feel your voice of love
calling out in yearning to my soul,
as I become further lost in this fear
 of loves wall falling upon me...

The graphic image of the woman's beautiful part got me distracted I think.

Your friend must have been and still is a special person to inspire such a romantic, tender and yet fearful write such as this. It shows your depth of feeling and your ability to feel pain. Very sweet.
