Reflections Of A Man Who Tries To Find His Resolve & Answers In The Bottom Of A Bottle of His Own Actual Demise....

Photography Artist: http://ligyrophobiac.deviantart.com/

Saturnalia Nights

Promiscuous roister upon sorrows edge,
as he called out for his Gloria.
Swaggered by his own blustering appeals;
I however also called into the carouse of his Gloria…

In his eristic resplendence
crying out to her name;
over, and over, and over again;
he leaned into his intoxications.
Momentarily with perceptions veil removed,
he lifts his head from the bar maid’s comfort...

The blooms given upon passions dance
Worn in her sable lock
his precious Gloria; now resting on the bar…
Into the revelry of his saturnalia nights;
They were picked from her garden back in 1994.

I knew her well…
She had wore them in her perfuming hair;
Within the fragrance of Gardenias’ splendors,
she still holds upon our heart’s her signature essence…

He leaned over and smelled the faded blooms
symbolic memorandums of his Gloria
…there upon the bar;
Unable to let go…

Unrestrained by the withered blooms
from his boisterous yesterdays;
He wept into his Patron Tequila,
as he called out into the abandons of his Gloria…

Into the next revelry of his saturnalia nights
of her unforeseeable memory…

The passions that reside at the botom of the bottle. Surely belong with the dregs of humanity. A mind abused with alcohol seldom rises above the ditch. Jon Michael Willey
