Spiritual Essence Will Not Harbor The Brutal Stones of Angers' Emotional Seething...
A Poem I Wrote To Me
For Me
By Me
From Me in 2007

~~Silent Stones~~

I can hear the calm
within a crowded morgue,
planked by the emotions
your anger did gorge.

Silenced by stone
beneath repentant hostility;
Damaged with scars
of your emotional brutality;

A thoroughfare of sorrow
is grafted of impetuous design;
Fearlessly recovered
in the buried grief I must now define.

You have gallantly walked in the hollows
of ironic's forte,
as emotional fortitude is depleted
by burdens of all betray.

Who is it that stumbled onto a pledge
of seemingly similar plight;
derived from the one self which pleads
for all that is forthright?

While relevance is unveiled
as the truth questions me from within...
Is any forced sacrifice worthy
of tears sorrows that now begin?

Blessed peace will you not seek me in this my hour of need? With the fingers of your hand, trace these tears nows streaming upon my sobbing cheeks. A most gripping poem crafted by a master, Vickie. Thanks for sharing. Jon Michael Willey

Gripping write that holds the readers attention from the opening to the ending. It rings with pain, anger, dissappointment but especially love albeit perhaps not the happily ever after love of storybook endings. well done Vick

A very deep and emotional write, one that peaks the curiosity of the reader and speaks to the heart as well. Much said within these lines, well written with powerful imagery!
