Abandoned Bounty
In the hopelessly severe
abysmal depths of love’s immeasurable passion,
betrayals heart is claimed by the poverty of absence.
A gallery of memories awaken
into the tormented chambers of divinities soul
releasing emotions of sorrow.
Alone in a tattered life of résistance
so full of integrity’s blindness
feelings perish into the past of another day
unnoticed by existence.
Devalued by circumstance
the truth remains on the ledge of desertion
while silence tears down the walls of destruction
without so much as a word spoken.
The heart echoes volumes of injustice,
yet forgiveness enfolds the strength
of the immeasurable passions
of love’s abandoned bounty.
