into every season...omniscience

Turning Leaves
The visuals incursive foray-
…an announcement arrives;
…iron rods pierced walls;
Made from stones archaic mortars;
Where wounded knees bend low;
Crouching like hidden tigers;
Sneering under egotisms arrogant eye…

When sights are blinded by servitude’s lust-
…emptiness reveals worthy seclusions;
Where redemption never fails
to pierce the wicked hand offering
 all forethought deceptions…

Within the crucifixions of wood stakes,
the bones will bleed their historic sin.
…and the eyes of morasses will cry rarified jewels;
as the contorting voices from antiquated stones listen;
with evenfalls watchful embodied presence;
Where the mountains hold visionary wisdoms
turning leaves into gifts of fortune teller’s crystals…

Love that last line, Vickie. I like thinking of nature that way - wiser and more mysterious. Some dark imagery here. It's the reality, and how each event colors the Earth. Hugs,
Sheila

Crimson bowing and boughing in prophetic rendering...your previous post Eyes of Morasses Mire, sexual worship trumping religious worship, Turning Leaves a spin-off..."When sights are blinded by servitude’s lust"...a line of visionary aptitude, nature's transformation an allegory to the colors we, as women, go through on the sensual hue of the color wheel...the leaves read through their bleeding veins...vampiric undertones, mistress...your neck...mmm...

Love,
Sage

OOO, a wee bit of a dark and atmospheric poem. Everything, be it animate or inanimate has life within this penn.

"...crouching like hidden tigers..." and when we close our eyes our soul will wear a shield, stopping the hungry tigers of disturbing our dreams.
