DARK POETRY OCTOBER 2010

Come Closer My Darling...

Sickle of Pestilence

Exiguous thoughts gather through the penury of darkness;
Meticulous Spartans of the night-cleave penetrating dreams.

Reaping and pruning with the elliptic sickle of pestilence
Their insidious poison infects the solemnity of the wounded soul…

In the envelope of crushing darkness tragedy is the relentless pursuer of human fragile desires. Left to its own resourcefulness it rapes and plunders the souls of innocence with impunity. Thus the "Sickle of Pestilence" ravishes all insight. Dark, yet so lovely in presentation my dear friend. Love and peace to you. Jon Michael

If you're keeping the worst till the thirty first -
Will just smoke and ash be left?

This is beyond spooky - it's frightful.

I have been reading all of your poetry in the "Orchards Of Deliverance" and this piece although mysterious deserves publication too. You are a very talented lady, Vickie.

Namaste from afar
