through the beauty and the essence(s) of life’s botanical perfumery our presence roots deeper through healing balms and liniments into the matters of our hungry souls
Spiritual Victuals Where tribal possessions bind heights of refuge through earthy bark into deep ravines and creviced stones of time’s numinous forge; Cernuous branches and hallowed roots burrow deeper yielding ambergris liniments from earthen limbs pinnacle and perfume… Knowing resinous drops are the healing myrrh’s throughout the Balms of Gilead buds into lotus emollients of Jasminum petals and ripe olives vied by the medicinal oils birthing citrus fruits under the season’s of Amyris, the anointing prophets exuding tender nectars embrocated by inspiriting savants (burning sandalwood) continue offering their ambrosial voices as time’s botanists tenderly reveal our spiritual victuals… © Poetess Victoria L.
