While we call Catholic, Lutheran, Protestant, and others separate religions they are in fact sects of one religion that is Christianity. But the way that these sects practice their Christianity is not only immoral, but a travesty that these ministers cannot follow the teachings of our Lord Jesus. All the ministers but a few are against same sex marriage, but yet admit that man (and woman) was made in God's image. It is a sin to judge others unjustly or falsely, and yet that is what all but a few ministers do. Organized religious sects do nothing but spew hatred, discrimination, bigotry, intolerance, and advocate that their practitioners eliminate those that differ from their sanctimonious beliefs. I have been a victim of this type of discrimination all of my life, and the only discrimination I have here in the town where I live are in the churches where I am not wanted. I am sorry sis for rambling, but I pray to the Lord God, and ask that my requests for help be through His son Jesus, our lord, protector and judge. Thank you for sharing.

For me, Vickie, the most interesting thing about polytheistic religions (and i'm not an advocate of any) is the sheer range of imagination..and yes, fun!
Monotheism (and i'm not partial either) is often dull and frightfully prescriptive.

I am a Christian follower, however I have the same beliefs as Mr. Perry. I believe in God just not religion especially the pagan kind. Good interesting writing Lovely Lady.
