Hawks and Haunted Magpie Crows
Did I fall from the sacred valley
Into where the poison oak grows
Over the mooring meadow buried twice
whence the sanguine moon finally rose
Come save me my darling nightfall
over the sorrows pouring down below
Where I made our silent hung wishes
and the rainbows seek the snow
The ice storm is chilling upon my heart
whispering death knells deeper into my soul
as a lost grave from the trenches of a life
your presence freed from this gnomonic knoll
busy yourself now with the velvety fated shadows
dancing with the hawks and haunted magpie crows
marked by the sparse diamonds of our eternity
I love you forever and always I hope you know…
