Love & Infinity

Poem Artwork

This Efflorescing Charade

I choose springtime Lilacs

to remind me of you

…and all those tender moments

that made us sing sing sing

beneath this starry clad moon

Waltzing and waltzing

within this efflorescent charade

begetting our uncertain emotions

denied by the blinded choices

we made made made

...knowing our perfuming blossoms

remain untouched and unfound

as they too fade fade fade

into the evocative beauty

of this efflorescing charade…

My latest "love" has left me reeling from promises and abandonment. I love her too much I suppose. Life is beyond my comprehension. The older I get, the less I know. Thank you, Vickie. Love and hugs to you,

Love does not have to be a charade. But sometimes it appears like one. Especially if we are denied love while the lilacs are in bloom under a new moon.

Yeah, I hear you on the charades, Vickie, believe me I do. Still, even charades can sometimes leave tender, beautiful memories, hope yours did.
