SO CLOSE...BUT YET, SO FAR. THE HEART...THE STRONGEST ORGAN IN THE BODY...IS THERE ANY WONDER WHY? AN ABSOLUTE GEM...THANKS FOR SHARING. LOVE, JOYCE * HIS INSPIRATIONS
Perfectly expressed. Do feelings ever go away, I think not. It' so easy to repress feelings in times of absence are awakened, though perhaps altered, when confronted by presence.
Dawn, This is an interesting write. "what caused you to hate this much…" I don't understand Hate/Hating/Hatred, it has always looked so painful to me and I prefer to believe that Love is all there is. A favorite movie of mine, Micky Rourke delivers the line "Hate? I don't hate anybody, but there ARE many that I prefer not to be around". Carin'
Finding the right distance,
choosing between what needs to be said
and silence that is sometimes the best solution,
learning to live with one's emotions
without being controlled by them...

Oh yes ... I can totally relate to this Dawn. Many have come and gone like this over the years in my own life. A very thin line separates these feelings, and although being detached can maintain a form of peace, when these unresolved things get in close proximity to us again, a floodgate can open and inundate us with all those emotions that remain unresolved. Good job here!

Yours is excellently composed poetry......tender and hopeful for one who has slipped away. Suggestion: Use that stone and throw it accurately! - Practical Bill
This book summarizes life's ten toughest tests with ten passwords each to pass these tests. The current overload, speed of change and chaos are all summarized well enough to get to the Land of Simple on the other side quicker than usual.
Slaves who fled their masters were classified as insane. This term came from Dr. Samuel Cartwright who was an apologist for slavery in the pre-Civil War era. This release of my Anoka Time file is a look at slavery in the modern context of Minnesota N
