Dawn,
Thoroughly thought through, a self-examination I suspect and yet the final lines hint differently, suggest 'other'. This is fine, very fine indeed.

Dawn - At first i thout the "you" of the poem was someone else. then the last lines made me think differently:

for unknowingly,

you,

in all your drama,

have given me the strength

to begin again and to trust

once more�

for who better

to trust,

than the woman

who writes these lines?

The "you" and the "I" seem to be different aspects of ourselves, past and present.

There were moments when

your orchestrated bouts

of insanity caused me to

question my own�

Strong and true, the ability to have absolute faith in ourselves and our own judgements can so easily be destroyed and it takes a lot to regain our confidence but I am glad you did and this write will offer hope to others I am sure.

Nice work Dawn....who better to trust than thyself?....Ultimately after all the moments of life and its emotions of dramatics through life itself and through relationships it is our self or self confidence of which we build within to become who we truly ae, and to overcome those times of downturns and changes of which we can accept, remember, forgive, and move ahead.
