Sometimes we are SO suborn, that we will not work together to finish a project.
If we work with a partner, time flys by!

Dr. Dorothy Holtslander
copyright 2010

I watched a little ant
Carrying a crumb of bread
It was three times his size,
And must have felt like lead!

He tried to carry it to and fro, but
Moved it very little
Until another ant came along
And decided it was his!
And so the two were in a battle,
THE BATTLE FOR THE BREAD!

He pulled this way, the other pulled that
But neither ant could manage to
Even move a crumb!

As I watched them
Something happened,
The bread began to move!
Slowly at first, then faster!

As it headed toward the hill.
Now both ants were working together
Both working together
No longer working alone
They finally completed
What there objective all along
To bring that morsel
Back to their home where they belong
