Sunday, Mother's Day, May 12 2008

Will I?

Lucky are the people who can live in the now without yearning for tomorrow or regretting yesterday.

Those who forgive through tears, even when hearts are broken

Or when the love is long gone, yet the memory of happiness remains.

Can I, will I, be the person who lives in the now,
 

Having faith and hope tomorrow will give me joy?
 

Knowing sadness will come, and with it, wisdom
 

Will I find comfort in the promise of a voice And comfort in the arms of love that surround my heart?
 

Yes, lucky are those that live, love and have peace
 

Though the world is falling
 

They are the people who see the beauty and live with hope

Will I be one?

Your question sounds forth the standard that God has written onto the tablet of our hearts, and by His Spirit,in His name, we're able.
What a precious gift today is. Tomorrow may never come for us in this life-time, and the past is passed, but God gives us the roses for today.

Yes, you need not even question yourself on this. But presenting it to us this way has made us think too whether we will be one of his people too. We all need a turn a round in our life to think of others, help others, find ourselves as needing the Lord and helping make a better world for others too.

Hi Sarah,this is a very good poem.People should always enjoy the moment and live in the now.Life is too short to argue about things that are completely irrelevant in this world.Keep up the good work
