Just a Poem I wrote for the man I love. |

I wrote this for my husband, and gave it to him on his birthday... Sappy, but pretty much how I feel. Said it better than any card I could find.
The day you were born,
God created a light for me,
Something bright and brilliant,
for all the world to see.
A heart so giving and just,
kind; loving and fair,
Something that shines all around me,
And goes with me everywhere.
Your love and your heart,
Are things I never hoped to find,
Your smile and laughter,
Help me to leave the past behind.
Your sweet soul and your kindness,
Have renewed my faith in love,
The bond we have been given,
Is surely a gift from above.
That is why I believe,
You were meant for me,
And the love I have for you,
Will burn endlessly...
