Do you ever feel like people would forget all about you as if you never existed or feel as if you've been treated badly.I think you will understand the message in this song

                        "Clothes Hanger"

You don't wear my support.
You don't wear my respect..
You don't wear my kindness.
You don't wear my friendship on your sleeve.
and inside of your heart
Worthless in your world,
I don't mean anything to you.
My love is not good enough for you to put on.
You put me on a clothes hanger
                            a clothes hanger
                             a clothes hanger

You put me on a clothes hanger,I'm lost in the closet of your life

You've forget all about me
Everything that I've mean to you.
Everything that I've done for you.
Why do you treat me like this?
It hurts so bad,so bad that I can't take it anymore
You put me on a clothes hanger
                            a clothes hanger
                            a clothes hanger

You put me on a clothes hanger,I'm lost in the closet of your life

If you don't need me.
If you don't want me.
If you don't adore me.
The best thing for you to do is let me go
Set me free from your selfishness
I'm better off without you
I'm not on a clothes hanger
                   a clothes hanger
                   a clothes hanger
I'm not on a clothes hanger,anymore

Wow, this is really moving. I really like the repeated phrases. Each stanza leads to the next progressive thought. Well done.

"Set me free from your selfishness, I'm better off without you" -- that is the crux of the matter Edwin -- you have expressed that very creatively in your poem (song) -- this is a keeper -- peace and love my friend -- Jon Michael

It is terrible to feel forgotten, to be hung on a hanger and stored away with no further thought. So very sad, so emotive! ~Elizabeth

Well said, Edwin. Very cleansing, the emotions, the need for newness shows through. Thanks, Brynn :)

It have the cadence of a Bob Marley's tune, the philosophy of a stoned Bob Dylan and the wise afterthoughts of Bob Geldof.
Yes, it is a lot of Bobs but you will get the hang of it!
Nice son, put some music to it!

Georg
