Winter winds howl and blow,
my scraggly branches defy the attack.
Spring will dance for us soon,
and alive again I will not look back.
My leaves will poke forth soon
new life bedecked in electric green chimes
with blossoms to come next
harmonizing in symphony sublime.
My fruity perfume sings
and swirls around you to tickle your nose.
Magic apple sweetness
can right any wrong, as everyone knows.
My juicy apples red
are an enchantment passed from me to you,
a shiny poetic breath
lasting until winter again comes due.
