What is this that comes to rest within me,
brought by sunbeam's light upon my window sill?
I do divine thine eyes to rest inside my wretched soul this
day
to bring fulfillment of my life that you caress upon your
will.
I sit and wonder at the love I feel,
at the love you give from your heart and soul,
so that my thoughts and dreams come to fruition when you
near;
you are my own true muse that makes my words seem whole.
You linger in my mind far into the night
and brighten my days with thoughts and dreams from mine
own heart.
'Tis you I give honor for words that cause delight;
'tis through you, with joy, my poesy doth impart.
