I’m as sure as I can be…

That each word I write

must ring of positivity;

that each song I sing

will express joy to the world;

that each person I meet

deserves a happy smile

That each cloud in the sky

brings relief from the heat,

or rains for growth,

or a billowing image of my youth.

I’m as sure as I can be…

That God’s Nature should be preserved

for others coming behind us;

that Peace is much better than war,

for love and tolerance is only

one thought away if only

we take the time to reflect.

That we are meant to help

those less fortunate,

if we truly appreciate

that which is given to us.

I’m as sure as I can be…

That each one of us can make a difference.
