The Aspens of Autumn

Glimmering…glistening, the leaves in the wind;
shimmering…shining, change of colors begin.
The Aspens of Autumn, such a sight to behold,
have dramatically turned to a luminous gold.
 

A mountainside filled with this beautiful sight;
each leaf seems as wings about to take flight.
God’s gifts to us all, if we’d only take time
to stop and be thankful for gifts so sublime.
