Sunset over water
explodes
with brilliance of light
glowing
in sapphires, rubies, golden topaz
sparkling gem-like colors, breath taking visions of evening
are seen;
beauty that is taken for granted
in our busy life style.
Open our awareness
all that is gloriously given,
all the artwork of beauty that nature gives: these visions, over the harbour, are our own treasures.
Darkness will soon fall, to be replaced
with the light of a bright moon that reflects sparkles of diamonds.
