Ohhh...I just love the pic!!! And the poem is just great!! It's so great to be back after what seems to be a lifetime.
Tiana passed on your mesage yesterday and I was so thrilled!! Thank you so much, I hope to catch up on all your poems that I missed soon. It sure feels good to know I was missed.
Hugs,
Jenni

Beautiful poem and so perfect for such twinkling delights. I love watching the fireflies at night.

called them lightning bugs, too. Such
magical lights! And what a lovely, magical write!
are starlight in your eyes,
You radiate the brilliant
glow of love. Must be
ordained for Marilyn
"Goddess of the Sea"
I often feel a firefly
Held captive by the night sky.
Thru little holes of punctured light,
They watch our captivating plight.
They're falsely feigning freedom,
They captured first the man of Edam.
He's illuminating starkness
While in this shroud of darkness.
Lightning bugs, we fill the land;
Glowing brightly while we can.
The jars of life ignore our plea,
Truth be told, we're never free!

I love those things!
Thank you for a wonderful poem, Marilyn!
