The Circle of Life

Your life can feel disconnected
Whatever your device
A thousand phones and tablets
Can never quite suffice

The modern age of speed and want
Will never want to change
But try slowing down amidst the strife
Embrace the lost and strange

For through the years one thing remains
And that is simply us
We're striving on not knowing quite where
So where's the need for fuss?

We don't need much to stay alive
Yet somehow think we do
From every side we're told a lie
Think carefully, who are you?

The world's a stage and every act
Will cause a little shift
So play your part now carefully
And give us all a lift!

Positive change is always good
So let your mind shine bright
The circle of life is closing now
There's no more need to fight.
