Friends
The world is smaller with each new day
Earth's borders swiftly swept away
Amazing for us all to see
Technology making history
There's always a way to keep in touch
With friends you can't see very much
Don't hesitate to make that call
They're waiting, so give them your all
A friend will do more than you think
It's never so simple as 'just a drink'
For meeting with the ones you trust
Renews your faith and clears the dust
Emerging from your time of fun
There's now more work, it must be done
But with the knowledge that friends are near
Your thoughts are happy, you have no fear
Move on with strength to each new task
You might need hats, or even a mask
For life is complex, webs are spun
Don't worry, the truth can't be undone
The truth - No matter who you are
To find a friend you needn't look far
In fact there's one outside your door
Say 'Hi', then see, there could be more!
