Dreams

Without dreams your life is dry
The only water, when you cry
Keep hopes alive and never forget
You have much more to do as yet

If sleeping is your only goal
Then where's the life, where's the soul?
Each moment is a chance to learn
One step further at every turn

So if your course has not been set
It's time desire and action met
Make choices now and start to act
With someone, something, make that pact

But careful now for minds can turn
To lower realms where fingers burn
The devil is hungry and always waits
So be prepared for what he baits

The chances are you want much more
What might the future keep in store
Set values high with virtue strong
Take time and caution, you won't go wrong

Think positive now and charge your mind
Meet people who are good and kind
These words I write in many reams
Such is the need for hopes and dreams
