Today's Poem

New Life

All the people we have known
Some learned to fly, some whine and moan
Amidst the tumult of life's harsh blows
We can't just hide, for new life grows

You see the future's coming at last
Those dreams and hopes are in the past
And now we face the light of day
As silent fears will slide away

Be on your guard, for with each change
The mind is charged, it may seem strange
But energy in this world is power
And wisdom needed every hour

In fact so much can change so fast
In seconds a hot or icy blast
Could toast or melt a dream or hope
Some rise above but some can't cope

It's time to help wherever we can
Not simply watch a happiness ban
With open minds and generous heart
New life will come, new life will start
