Some things work and some things don't
It's like some help whilst some just won't
There comes a time when dreams are through
And harsh reality bites at you
And 'though this time seems as a curse
It's stopping things from getting worse
For limitations must be seen
A life is not forever green
Time will persist and so will thought
And stretching outwards, men are caught
Read well and watch life's patterns weave
Some things we simply have to leave
A bigger picture always there
Remembering that we need to care
And getting back to what's loved best
Must mean some things will fail the test
