Today's Poem

Words

Spiralling out into the night
My words will reach you in the fight
And help you more than you might guess
Not set to blind or to impress

Take charge of where you want to go
There's always more that you don't know
Ignore the fact and carry on
Or things will pass and all is gone

A positive mind will bring more good
It may seem hard, that's understood
But thinking any other way
Will only risk some more dismay

The goal you seek, it must be held
Within you mind, where all is gelled
The place where new adventures start
The mind can guide dreams of the heart

And yet the heart has to ignite
The hope and passion are also right
With checks that all is for the good
Keep moving how you know you should

A riddle indeed, but you should know
We're all the same, we reap and sow
The mystery sometimes isn't so great
And simple words might ease your fate
