Today's Poem

Happy Christmas!

'Though the poems may be few
I have a special wish for you
For since you take the time to read
You now deserve this special seed

A seed of hope, within these words
That soars beyond the beasts and birds
To give more meaning from now on
Since Christmas lights have brightly shone

Within the haze of travel and change
And whilst this world will rearrange
You may step back and now reflect
On what you next wish to select

For choices make the difference NOW
Don't doubt the truth or question how
The future starts right here in time
And from now on will ever climb

If this too much, then search some more
For every boat must come to shore
And cargo's out there, no mistake
Don't pass it by, for goodness' sake

Some strange ideas for these great days
Life's moving on in curious ways
Whoever, wherever, lad or lass
I wish you all a Happy Christmas!
