From her mysterious eyes, a mesmirizing message

sizzled to him that she was unlike anyone he had ever met before.

The long red hair flowed and curled in abandon down her

shapely back and made him want to bury his fingers in its silky length.

The slant of her eyes, the contours of her face and the shape of her mouth

made his fingers itch for a paint and brush so he could test his artistic strength.

Her voice was pure poetry; Irish accented and therefore liltingly musical.

He could have sat and looked at her and listened to her talk all night.

Her eyes laughed at him as she introduced herself to him.

"My name is Maura" she said "What's been keeping you from my sight?"

Her hand fit into his with the ease of practice and the rightness of feeling....as if he had

been made especially for her and her for him and they both had waited a lifetime already.

This had a fairytale quality about it that made him wonder if he were dreaming.

He wasn't the kind to fall in love at first sight, he was usually serious and steady.
