Just pondering again.

©2004 M. Bennett Hooper

The souls of the poor in spirit are easily lost in today time.
See how they run to the tunes of the death dance.
Young men wasted on city streets
crying bloodstained tears of bitter uselessness as the enemy smiles.

Middle class families find their positions TENUOUS as their sons wander into dreams of RICH NOW!
RICH NOW! RICH NOW!
And as housing construction begins it’s expected slump prison building becomes the industry of last resort for underemployed craftsmen.

One potato, two potato, three potato four.
Who is really bank rolling the drug trade?
Oil for food, for drugs, for oil for food , for drugs.
Who is feeding whom while we all die on city streets, in country towns, in hovels, and mansions too.
Greed is an equal opportunity killer and today’s victor may well be tomorrow’s victim.
Nails, coffin, shovel.
Are these the only tools of the civilized world ?

 Reviews of "The Craftsmen"

"The Craftsmen" shows the slave masters as it questions who's who's.
They can invade countries with quarter of million soldiers of misfortune, while THE DRUG BARONS' employees invade their country to feed the DRUGdreams of 75 million drugslaves.

Keep writing... don't let the king of the cloned men chain Your VOICE, Poet!
