From the pen of my dear friend Saili, needed to be shared. She inspires me and I love her work that is her life.

CHANGE

by

©2006 Karen “Sailizenzele” Jackson

(This poem is dedicated to those among us who are experiencing a revolution (Change) in their lives.)

Peering at the vision through your eyes, one would think you had the blueprint.

But as the future comes again, the vision becomes a vapor and dissipates through the winds of change.

I am caught in the bosom of nature as the winds dissents upon my crown.

I breathe in, holding it, as it resonates through my temple.

I tremble and exhale a rage from the pit of my womb. (scream)

I have released the tumors of self denial as I embrace the echoes of freedom,

Because I have let go.

I have let go of your agenda, your ideology, your philosophy, your religion,

Your concepts, your thought patterns, your language, your perceptions of reality,

All your desires of who I should be.

Yeah, and it was disguised as a token of Sincerity.

Dedicated to the Divine Womb of the Mind.

(Slaves submit and capitulate, sheep & niggers survive, people overcome, & Gods thrive.”  YEAH)
