beyond grief

thunder roars,
rumbling graves,
vibrating souls,
while trees dance,
escaping pain.

roof holds,
high-peaked
dividing anger,
washing down
from all sides.

sorrow insists,
begging at
closed windows
where i remain,
eyes dry as sand.
