Love and Bones
Humpty Dumpty
sat on my wall,
knocked it down,
took it all, and said,
"All the king's horses,
and all the king's men,
they will ride in and
have at you again!"
Sticks and stones
have broken me,
nothing left of love
but splintered bone,
marrow depleted,
veins lying there,
the final strands,
loose like thread.
Ring around my rosie,
a pocket full of nosies,
asking, asking, they
all fall overthemselves,
"Who will put her
back together again?!"
Two birds were in this bush,
what's left now only feathers.
Gary
Jack be the first to touch her...
Bits.
And dry his tears in the feathers.
Very nice.
Who were the two lucky birds who blew it?

when you fall down, get back up--as i know you can
keep writing--this was so beautifully poignant--well done
(((HUGS))) and love,
karla. :)
