Lonely, misshapen towers
that once held firm
laid twisted and gnarled
along the mud-splattered trail,
silent, this wasteland of
dead and decaying pines,
skeletons of nature's woe
and man's blight,
fading away, ever so slowly
in the dying daylight.
This collection of poetry addresses the nature of time, reflections on the natural world, the difficulty of loss,
contemporary social issues and gratitude for life.
