There is singing in the night,
upon summer's sultry dreams,
that rocks the soul to sleep,
in dreams of youth and fireflies.
Heaven watchful from above,
all slumber in this house,
but beats the heart in longing,
where life remains the same.
None will remember this summons,
sealed within our bones,
and clothes the spirit in harmony,
sent by winds that carry angels,
who peer into our souls.
