Full moon rose above
ghostly night,
casting light into
shadowed world of twilight
as pale rays, bemused,
played with saintly hearts
and teased those that
were once young,
and finds the world
as it always was,
filled with tired, hungry,
disenchanted souls.

"Always was" is a poem that reflects this poet's soul and its beautiful sensitivity to the joy of being alive. I applaud the writer of this poem.
