Life, what can you say?
When you're presented a questionable fork
in which both choices seem good
and both are difficult roads to take,
what do you do?
You weigh the decision in your head,
which at the time you believe to be clear,
and take a fork and go for it.
But, the mind is a funny thing
and it takes a while for it to realize
what your subconscious has always known.
There was a subconscious desire
to go one way at the fork
to procure one thing at the expense
of the one thing that all must be--
honest with themselves.
You had decieved yourself
into believing that which was questionable
and now looking back you realize this.
However, as one fork leads to another,
many decisions have been made since--
some which are nearly impossible to reverse.
What can you do then?--
knowing these things now
while then you thought that you were right
to find out that you were wrong.
Life, what can you say?
